This Series of Drafted and painted compositions reflect on the ideas of language as art and words/letters as symbols. The symbolic and imaginative nature of words ( ie. How, Why, Momentum), reinforce the complexity of the painting. Simple proportions and shapes are turned and squeezed to reflect an underlying intensity drawn from very basic Ideas that pervade our culture.

Inspired by the growing popularity of personal services - either in print or the internet, this painting reflects on the state of the relations between the sexes. The male and female figures shown have on facades and do a "dance" to see if they like eachother. The naked figures are set ironically against a backdrop of "impersonal" acronyms found in any personal advertisement world over.
